Meet our team
Our team brings decades of firsthand experience delivering prevention education programming in Northern Colorado schools and is collectively channeling that expertise into this new, locally rooted organization.
Staci Clark
Meet Staci Clark (she/her). Staci has been working in child abuse prevention for almost a decade. She is so excited to be a part of this new nonprofit with a team of 5 who share a passion for educating children how to be safe at home, at school, and in the community. Staci has a Master’s of Arts in the field of speech language pathology and so she is also passionate about developing and teaching curriculum to children with developmental difficulties. When not teaching, Staci loves to spend time with her 2 golden retrievers, 3 cats and 10 chickens. She also loves to play in the mountains with her kids and husband.

Erica Singh
Meet Erica Singh (she/her). Erica brings a diverse background in healthcare, education, and social sciences to Live EmpowerED, along with a master's degree in Prevention Science Practice from Colorado State University and years of service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). She feels deeply privileged to give children the tools they need to recognize unsafe situations, speak up, and stay safe — and is equally passionate about empowering the families and communities surrounding those children to do the same. Outside of the classroom, Erica loves adventuring with her husband and two kids, traveling to new places, and staying active.
Prevention Educator
Heather Hoppin
Meet Heather Hoppin (she/her). Heather graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelors in Recreation. She worked with at-risk youth teaching in a wilderness setting and bringing experiential education into the classroom. In order to further her purpose with students she then earned her masters at University of Northern Colorado in Special Education. Heather has since brought various prevention curriculums to many students from kindergarten to 5th graders, students in the Integrated Services classrooms, middle schools students and parents. She loves being a part of kids' lives in this way, knowing she is providing vital information and building courage in them. When not instructing Heather enjoys time with her own kids and husband, outside, mostly! Other joys include reading historical fiction and cuddling with the family pup!
Prevention Educator
Ana Pasini
Meet Ana Pasini (she/her). Ana brings over 20 years of experience to our community as a bilingual advocate and prevention educator. She is deeply passionate about teaching children how to recognize and trust their gut feelings when something doesn’t feel safe, empowering them to use their voices and speak to a trusted adult. Believing that every child has the right to feel safe, Ana also specializes in training adults on how to supportively react when a child discloses abuse. Having raised two amazing daughters locally and volunteered for numerous children's missions in town, Ana is a dedicated community member who is thrilled to join our team. During her free time, Ana can be found playing with her two kitties, Puma and Louie.
